CRAWLER ROOM

Baby Crawling

LOOK OUT, WE ARE ON THE MOVE!

Once our infants start to get curious about the world around them, those little hands and feet can move pretty quickly.  That is why we have a room dedicated to our squiggly wiggly crawling babies.  In the crawler room, we will introduce the children to:

  • Circle time - This time is dedicated to singing songs, reading books, and moving our bodies.

  • Sensory Activities - This is where crawlers begin to explore how to create and use their imaginations.  Sensory is all things that GO, just like them.

  • Independence - Crawler teachers begin to introduce independent play.  They focus on projects that require hand-eye coordination so they can start to expand their fine motor skills.

  • Outside play - as soon as weather permits, the crawlers are exploring the world outside.

Our crawler room staff are dedicated to strong communication with families and will be sure to provide regular and consistent daily updates about your child's development as well as their changing needs and personality.  We use an application called Brightwheel to ensure regular, real-time updates

All of our classrooms are outfitted with an ample supply of age-appropriate toys and activities.  We use the Department of Human Services recommended supplies list as a guide.

CRAWLERS ARE MOVING JUST AS FAST AS THE WORLD AROUND THEM, WE ARE DEDICATED TO HELPING THEM MAKE THINGS GO AND KEEPING THEM SAFE!
